Salt and Potassium Deliveries

The salt used in your water softener does not directly soften the water, rather, it is used to regenerate the resin beads in your water softener. These resin beads actually soften the water by removing the hard water ions (calcium and magnesium). The most common types of salt used in a water softening system are Crystals and Pellets, as well as Potassium.
